Fall.
Day by day I wait
Eager for fall
I would run outside
wrapped in a shawl
Leaves turn red
golden and gold
as it slowly starts
to get windy cold
The rustle of leaves
the swish of trees
The autumn has started to cease
I knew that
I wasn't steady
when I looked out
I said ' oh, it is winter already'.

Books.
I like books
they tell about
clowns and cooks
who scream and shout
think and look like us but are small.
'We're smaller than grasshoppers
we're smaller than a ball
and look at Queen Book-a-lina
who shrinks us small.
With her niece Elina
We'll be small as fleas'!

My Birthday
My birthday was awesome.
It was fit for me,
Buns as soft as bubblegum,
It was a sight to see.
My friends got me gifts,
they were pleased to see me.
Although they kept on giving me lifts
I was really really pleased!

cinderella...
Cinderella is so grand,
no wonder she's from disneyland.
So many pretty dresses she wears,
most of them her step-mother tears.
Her step-sisters join to tear the dress,
until it's a dirty mess.
She's not even a bit sad for all the friends she has.
Rats, birds, friends together
these are true friends forever...

butterfly...
There was a butterfly sitting on my wall.
So green. So pretty.
When the light turns off.
The butterfly flies off.
So, when I see a butterfly before turning out the light.
I wonder if it will stay?
...but when I switch it off, it flutters around making me run.
When I switch on the light why doesn't it come back?
I must read about bugs when I grow up
and then become one myself!

paint your rainbow...
When the rain stops.
Look out.
See the rainbow.
So colourful, but faded.
Imagine if you could paint the rainbow with paints.
Sketch pens, pens and crayons.
You can even stick stickers on it.
Collect the bag of gold at the end of it and design it.
When you feel bored colour the sky with colour pencils.
Draw the rainbow and paint it.
Then look at it when you are in school, throught the window.
Looks so nice!

my mirror, my twin.
My mirror is my identical twin, copying by learning.
Her copying skills, so good that even when you bring your friend to stand there, your twin becomes their twin!
So be careful.
Don't break your twin's home, which is the mirror or be afraid of her.
She will be gasping for air if her home is broken.
She will die and you will have to buy her a new home.
When you buy her a new home, automatically she will appear again!
She will be so happy, she came back to life and feel warm, cozy and happy in her home.

The Ocean~ Mallika's first poem:-)
The ocean is so vast and clean,
It's the way it's when you dream,
So many lovely lovely seashells you get,
So collect some and and make it wet,
Put it in the sand near the waves,
It disappeared like magic!
Then go for a fun boat ride,
Play some little water games in the ocean,
Play ball with some of your friends,
Play so much like one of the legends,
Play so much because it depends,
I will give you all my sea shells
cause this poem ends.
